I grew up in Prescott, AZ ( I still consider myself an Arizonian even though I have lived in Utah for the past 7 years ). I graduated BYU with a bachelor's degree in psychology with an emphasis in education.
I enjoy working with all ages of people, but I have always had a soft spot for preschoolers. I love their enthusiasm to learn, create, play and ask questions. Since I also love playing, laughing, singing, and creating teaching activities, working with preschool age children is really a good fit for me! For the past 2 1/2 I have taught preschool at home.
My teaching background includes:
* Volunteered and taught at Head Start as well as private preschool.
* Taught an after school program for children ages 7-9.
* The instructor for tumbling tots classes. (I loved building the obstacle courses having the children crawl, climb, balance, run, jump, and skip!)
*I am also currently CPR/First Aid certified.

I live in Lehi, Utah with my husband and two children. We enjoy camping, hiking, riding bikes, playing in the sun, cooking dinner together, dancing, laughing and hanging out with friends and family.
